Bio

I’m Cassie (Trott) Cole, a proud alumna of Random Lake School District, where I attended from ages 3 to 18 and graduated in 2009. During my high school years, I was deeply involved in the music department, lettering in both band and choir. I held the esteemed front right (leader) position in the marching band and eagerly played every instrument I could get my hands on. Additionally, I participated in plays, show choir, and many solo/ensemble competition events. After high school, I attended UW Sheboygan and UW Oshkosh, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. I began my teaching career in 2015 and taught at Random Lake Middle School from 2016 to 2021. In 2021, I furthered my education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Leadership, along with my Director of Special Education and Pupil Services license, from UW Superior. In 2019, I married my husband, Jeff, who is also an educator. He transitioned from being a physical education teacher to a school counselor. In 2022, we welcomed our first son, JJ. We live in Sheboygan, in the home where Jeff grew up. In addition to my professional achievements, I have been actively involved in my community. I previously served on the board of directors for Pawsitism, Inc., an organization that trains service dogs for individuals with autism. I continue to be involved with Camp Evergreen in Sheboygan, a respite camp for people with developmental disabilities, where I had my first job in high school. Looking to the future, I aim to advocate for all students at the administrative level, striving for universal equitable access to meaningful learning experiences. Personally, I hope to expand my family and create lasting memories, with a notable dream of visiting Disney World.
