The Distinguished Alumni Award provides an opportunity for former Random Lake High School students to be recognized for their achievements beyond graduation. Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- The nominee is a graduate of Random Lake High School.
- At least 10 years have passed since the nominee graduated from Random Lake High School.
- The nominee has made a significant achievement in his or her career and noteworthy contributions to society on a local, regional, national, or international level.
